The LIS databases store vector information at several scales and in a variety of resolutions. The Cypriot EBM dataset was derived from cadastral plans (scales 1:500 - 1:5000). Original digital topographic and cadastral data were generalised based on EBM standards. Geographical names appearing in the EBM dataset were standardised by the Permanent Committee for the Standardization of Geographical Names of Cyprus, and they are officially included in the Complete Gazetteer that was submitted and approved by the United Nations. 5000
