Der interoperable INSPIRE-WMS ist ein Darstellungsdienst, der Daten im INSPIRE-Zielschema Boden (abgeleitet aus dem originären Datensatz: Potenzielle Standorteignung für Erdwärmekollektoren Brandenburg) bereitstellt. Er gibt einen Überblick über die Eignung des natürlich gelagerten, abgesetzten Bodens für die oberflächennahe, geothermische Nutzung von Wärmeenergie. Die im Boden / oberflächennahen Untergrund gespeicherte Wärmeenergie kann über Wärmetauscher (sog. Erdwärmekollektoren) gewonnen und von Wärmepumpen für Heizzwecke genutzt werden (Boden-Geothermie). In der Karte werden die Standorteignung für Erdwärmekollektoren dargestellt. Gemäß der INSPIRE-Datenspezifikation für Soil liegen die Inhalte INSPIRE-konform vor. Der WMS beinhaltet die folgenden Layer:

- SO.SoilBody: Abgegrenzter und hinsichtlich bestimmter Bodeneigenschaften und/oder räumlicher Muster homogener Teil der Bodendecke.

The compliant INSPIRE-WMS is a view service that delivers data in the INSPIRE target schema Soil (derived from the original data set: Potential site suitability for geothermal collectors Brandenburg). It provides an overview of the suitability of naturally stored, deposited soil for the near-surface, geothermal use of thermal energy. The thermal energy stored in the ground / near surface can be obtained via heat exchangers (so-called geothermal collectors) and used by heat pumps for heating purposes (ground geothermal energy). The map shows the suitability of the location for geothermal collectors. The content is compliant to the INSPIRE Data Specification on Soil. The WMS includes the following layers:
