EuroRegionalMap country contribution provides a geographic database for topographic data that will be maintained at the source level by the National Mapping and Cadastral Agencies (NMCAs), and by providing harmonized access conditions within the framework of EuroGeographics.

The main elements of the map are: administrative units, roads and railways, built-up areas, open areas, lakes and rivers, place names, contours at a 25/50 meters interval. The General Map data covers the entire country of Sweden seamlessly and has been updated and improved by Lantmäteriet.
