EuroRegionalMap country contribution provides a geographic database for topographic data that will be maintained at the source level by the National Mapping and Cadastral Agencies (NMCAs), and by providing harmonized access conditions within the framework of EuroGeographics.

Description

Data is collected from existing national databases and harmonised to meet ERM specifications.

Land and Property Services maintains the OSNI vector spatial database at 1:50 000 scale.

This vector information is generalised to 1:250 000 scale data for the ERM contribution.

Cross-border data consistency and a common and fixed international boundary between Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland is agreed between producers.
