Die Kommunale Topographie beinhaltet verschiedene topographische Objekte (z. B. Straßenlaternen, Kanaldeckel, Wege) und Geländehöhen. Die Daten wurden mittels terrestrischer Aufnahmen der Stadt Krefeld oder durch Digitalisierung ermittelt. Die Daten liegen nicht für das gesamte Stadtgebiet vor, sondern werden projektweise erhoben.
