Raumbezogene Darstellung von "Tropennächten" über die Jahre 2000 bis 2022 des Deutschen Wetterdienstes (⁠DWD⁠). Eine "Tropennacht" ist definiert als Nacht, deren niedrigste Temperatur 20 °C nicht unterschreitet.

Um eine flächenhafte, ganz Deutschland gleichmäßig abdeckende Darstellung zu erhalten, wurde die (mittlere) Anzahl der Tropennächte je Kalenderjahr aller nutzbaren Stationen mit statistischen Verfahren auf eine Gitterstruktur mit 1-km-Raster übertragen.
