  HALO Microwave Package measurements during North Atlantic Waveguide and Downstream impact EXperiment (NAWDEX)

NAWDEX:

Measurements of microwave radiometer brightness temperatures, radar reflectivity and linear depolarisation ratio, and dropsonde atmospheric profiles from aircraft campaign over mid-latitude Atlantic out of Iceland.

The campaign explored the impact of diabatic processes on disturbances of the jet stream and their influence on downstream high-impact weather through the deployment of four research aircraft.
