Bibliothekskatalog des Umweltbundesamtes

Der öffentliche Bibliothekskatalog (OPAC) der Fachbibliothek Umwelt des Umweltbundesamtes macht deren Bestände durchsuchbar. UBA-intern können Entleihvorgänge online vorgenommen werden. Im Bestandteil 'ULIDAT' (Umweltliteraturdatenbank) wurden bis Ende 2004 relevante Fachveröffentlichungen zum Umweltbereich vorwiegend aus dem deutschsprachigen und europäischen Raum bibliographisch nachgewiesen. OPAC/ULIDAT dient als wichtige Informationshilfe bei der Aufgabenerledigung des UBA sowie für externe Benutzer in allen Bereichen von Verwaltung, Forschung und Lehre, Industrie und für die interessierte Öffentlichkeit. Seit 1984 wird OPAC/ULIDAT öffentlich angeboten. Der extern verfügbare Datenbestand umfasst Literatur ab 1976. Es werden bibliographische Angaben, in ULIDAT zum großen Teil Abstracts, Deskriptoren und Umweltklassifikation gespeichert. Der momentane Datenbestand umfasst etwa 850 000 (Juni 2016), davon aus ULIDAT etwa 510 000 Datensätze (bis Dezember 2004 erfasst). Die öffentliche Nutzung der Datenbestände erfolgt entgeltfrei im Internet (http://doku.uba.de).
