Der bundesweite Datensatz enthält Informationen zur Schutzwirkung von Windhindernissen für die Hauptwindrichtung Südost (SO). Die Ableitung erfolgt auf Grundlage eines erweiterten in der DIN 19706 (2013) beschriebenen methodischen Vorgehens. Eine grundsätzliche Beschreibung des methodischen Vorgehens zur Ableitung der Schutzwirkung von Windhindernissen findet sich in (Gebel, M.; Uhlig, M.; Bürger, S.; Halbfaß, S. Die Daten sind keine absolut gültigen Ergebnisse, sondern stehen im Kontext der methodischen Annahmen bei der Erstellung und Verarbeitung der Ausgangsdaten.
