  Data used for the dissertation of Martin Utz [2025]

This dataset provides a set of input data for each test case, as well as for the river engineering application used in Martin Utz's dissertation. The corresponding simulation results are also provided. Together with the settings described in the thesis and the software (https://git.iws.uni-stuttgart.de/dumux-pub/Utz2025b), this allows the simulations discussed in the dissertation to be reproduced.

Quality and validity

Lineage

The simulations are conducted using the software dumux-sediment. This software is developed within the corresponding BAW project "FuE: Verfahrensentwicklung Dune" and is accessible via https://git.iws.uni-stuttgart.de/dumux-pub/Utz2025b

A detailed description of the simulations can be found in the linked dissertation.

The *.h5 files can be visualised using the Paraview and the corresponding *.xmf file.
