IS RK 10 KO - Informationssystem Geologische Karte des Rheinisch-Westfälischen Steinkohlengebietes 1:10.000

Das Informationssystem zeigt die Verbreitung der karbonzeitlichen Steinkohlen-Flöze und Sandsteine. Es informiert außerdem über die Tektonik und die Tiefenlage der Karbonoberfläche. Es basiert auf dem analogen Kartenwerk, welches im Zeitraum von 1949 bis 1954 im damaligen Amt für Bodenforschung – Landesstelle Nordrhein-Westfalen, Krefeld – erarbeitet wurde. Heute gewinnen diese insgesamt 58 Kartenblätter als großmaßstäbige, hochauflösende Grundlage zur Bearbeitung von Fragestellungen zum Thema Altbergbau wieder zunehmend an Bedeutung. Das digitale Kartenwerk wird im Vektorformat [IS RK 10 KO DS] zum Download bereitgestellt.
