Lokale Agenda 21

Die Agenda 21 ruft in dem Kapitel 28 "Initiativen der Kommunen zur Unterstützung des Agenda 21" die Kommunen auf, für ihre Bereiche Lokale Agenden zu entwickeln.

Ziel ist es u.a. bürgergesellschaftliche Kompetenzen zur Lösung regionaler und globaler Umweltprobleme zu nutzen. Damit eng verbunden ist der partizipatorische Charakter vieler Projekte. Mit der Lokalen Agenda 21 gelingt es zunehmend, die Menschen an der Ausgestaltung ihrer Lebensräume zu beteiligen.
