Mit dem Informationssystem Oberflächennahe Geothermie für Baden-Württemberg (ISONG) können Nutzungsmöglichkeiten und Risiken der oberflächennahen Geothermie abgerufen werden. Für Erdwärmesonden sind Kartenthemen und eine detaillierte Standortbeurteilung (geothermische Effizienz, Einschränkungen, prognostisches Bohrprofil, Wärmeentzugsleistung) verfügbar, für Erdwärmekollektoren lediglich Kartenthemen.
