Geltungsbereiche der Bauleitplanung der Stadt Bremerhaven

Im Bebauungsplan legt eine Gemeinde als Satzung (Beschluss des Gemeinderats) fest, welche Nutzungen auf einer bestimmten Gemeindefläche zulässig sind. Der Bebauungsplan schafft Baurecht und stellt die verbindliche Bauleitplanung nach Baugesetzbuch (Zweiter Abschnitt) dar. Der Bebauungsplan muss die Grenzen seines räumlichen Geltungsbereichs festsetzen (§ 9 Abs. 7 BauGB). Nach dem Prinzip der Einräumigkeit darf sich der Geltungsbereich mehrerer Bebauungspläne nicht überschneiden.
