In der Referatsgruppe "Vermessungs- und Katasterwesen" werden die Aufgaben der obersten Vermessungs- und Katasterbehörde wahrgenommen. Hier werden Grundsatzangelegenheiten der Vermessungs- und Katasterverwaltung bearbeitet, das Geodatenmanagement koordiniert und die fachliche Aufsicht über das Landesvermessungsamt, die Vermessungsstellen und die Gutachterausschüsse für Grundstückswerte ausgeübt.
