Wald auf erosionsgefährdeten Standorten, dessen Boden je nach Standortmerkmalen zu wasserbedingter Erosion und Bodenbewegung neigt. Der Bodenschutzwald dient hier dem Schutz des Standortes sowie benachbarter Flächen vor Wassererosion, Rutschungen und Bodenkriechen.
