Stadt Gelsenkirchen: RVR - Verbandsgrünflächen

Mehr als 60 Prozent der Fläche der Metropole Ruhr wird im Verbandsverzeichnis Grünflächen des Regionalverbandes Ruhr (RVR) als besonders schützenswerter und überörtlich bedeutsamer Freiraum geführt. Hierzu gehören die klassischen Freiflächen wie Wälder, Parks, Gewässer und Felder ebenso wie die Freiflächen aus zweiter Hand: Halden, Industriebrachen und zahlreiche weitere Restflächen mit überörtlicher Bedeutung für das regionale Freiflächensystem (Quelle: RVR)
