Die Aufschlussdatenbank ist zentrale Informationsgrundlage für alle geowissenschaftlichen FISe und Vielzahl von Umweltaufgaben. # zentrale Datenhaltung (ORACLE) mit Schnittstellen = Hauptgrundlage für - geologische Landesaufnahme - Herausgabe geol. Bohrungsdaten, - geothermischen Atlas - Bereitstellung von Aufschlussdaten für Gefährdungsabschätzungen im Bereich Grundwasser, Hydrogeologie, Ingenieurgeologie, Strahlenschutz, - die Ausgrenzung von Wasserschutzgebieten, - die Umsetzung der Altlastenmethodik des Freistaates Sachsen sowie - die Grundwasserüberwachung und Messnetzrekonstruktion, - die Katastrophenvorsorge und Katastrophenbeherrschung (geogen bedingte Bewegungsschäden wie Rutschungen, Setzungen, Erdbeben; Hochwasser) - Umsetzung der Wasserrahmenrichtlinie, - Deponiestandortsuchen. - Bedienung der nationalen und europ. GDI.
