Öffentliche WLAN-Standorte M-V

Auf der dargestellten Karte werden öffentlich geförderte WLAN-Standorte aufgeführt. Das Ministerium für Wirtschaft, Arbeit und Gesundheit M-V plant die schrittweise Errichtung von sogenannten WLAN-Hotspots in touristischen Regionen von Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Ein Zugang soll vorzugsweise im Binnenland, an touristisch nachgefragten Stätten wie Schlössern und Gutshäusern, an Wasserstraßen und anderen Sehenswürdigkeiten mit Verweildauer ermöglicht werden. Weitere Informationen zum Standortgutachten für Hotspots in Tourismusregionen M-V erhalten Sie unter www.wm.mv-regierung.de. Zudem zielt auch das europaweite Programm WiFi4EU auf die Förderung von frei zugänglichem WLAN-Standorten im öffentlichen Raum ab, insbesondere in ländlichen und strukturschwachen Regionen. Informationen zum Wifi4EU-Programm finden Sie unter https://wifi4eu.ec.europa.eu. Die Karte zeigt die aktiven WLAN-Hotspots der öffentlichen Initiativen auf. Bis Ende 2021 sollen somit rund 260 Standorte mit frei verfügbarem WLAN ausgerüstet werden. An den aufgeführten aktiven Standorten können Bürger*innen kostenlos im Internet surfen und digitale Informationen über regionale Angebote abrufen.
