WFS Geokodierungsdienst für Adressen und Geonamen (Bund)

Der Geokodierungsdienst für Adressen und Geonamen ist ein Gemeinschaftsprojekt von Bund und Ländern.

Die Datengrundlage (GA, GN250, Straßen NRW) wird von den Bundesländern bereitgestellt. Das Bundesamt für Kartographie und Geodäsie (BKG) bereitet die Daten auf und betreibt den beim Dienstleistungszentrum des BKG entwickelten Webdienst.

Der Dienst ermittelt für attributiv beschriebene Adressen und Geonamen eine räumliche Lagebeschreibung in Form einer Koordinate (Geokodierung) bzw. alle Adressen und Geonamen in einem angegebenen Gebiet (Reverse Geokodierung).

Der Dienst kann über eine durch das Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) international standardisierten Web Feature Service (WFS) Schnittstelle verwendet werden.
