Geotopkataster Sachsen-Anhalt

Geotope sind flächige oder punktuelle Naturdenkmale der unbelebten Natur. Ihr Schutz ist durch die Untere Naturschutzbehörde der Kreisverwaltung geregelt. Die fachliche Beratung und Katalogisierung erfolgt durch das Landesamt für Geologie und Bergwesen. Geotope sind unverzichtbare Denkmale des Naturraums.
