Kreis Herford: Plattdeutsche Karte

Die Plattdeutsche Karte enthält sowohl die Ortsnamen, Ortsteile und die Bezeichnungen einzelner Wohnquartiere auf Plattdeutsch. Der Kreisheimatverein hat mit Unterstützung einer Gruppe von Plattdeutsch-Experten alle Ortsnamen in der Alltagssprache des 20. Jahrhunderts digital aufgenommen. Per Mausklick auf die Texte ertönen nun über das Internet die gesprochenen Ortsnamen. Über eine Lupenfunktion kann sich der geschichtsinteressierte Kartenleser nun auch an gewünschter Stelle die historische Situation in der topographischen Uraufnahme von 1837 ansehen
