Das EBV-Datenportal ist eine Plattform für die Verbreitung und Visualisierung von EBV-Datensätzen. Es verfügt über ein geografisches Katalogisierungssystem, das verschiedene raum-zeitliche und EBV-spezifische Attribute unterstützt und eine einfache Auffindbarkeit ermöglicht. Darüber hinaus bietet das Portal einen EBV-Visualisierer, mit dem die Benutzer komplexe, multidimensionale Biodiversitätsdatensätze bequem erkunden können. Um die Interaktion mit den Nutzern zu verbessern, bietet das Katalogisierungssystem eine benutzerfreundliche webbasierte Schnittstelle, die ein nahtloses Hochladen, Auffinden und Teilen von raum-zeitlichen Biodiversitätsdaten durch intuitive Katalogisierungs- und Filterwerkzeuge ermöglicht.
