Die Höhenlinien liegen flächendeckend als Rasterdaten in Bayern vor und werden aus den Daten des Digitalen Geländemodells (DGM5) abgeleitet.

Lineage
- Die Höhenlinien werden generell aus dem Digitalen Geländemodell 5m-Gitterweite (DGM5) berechnet. Datengrundlage für das DGM ist Laserscanning (Airborne Laserscanning). Die Höhengenauigkeit der Höhenlinien ist abhängig von der Genauigkeit des zugrunde liegenden DGM5, wobei die Höhengenauigkeit bei ca. +/- 0,3 m liegt. Die Genauigkeitsangaben beziehen sich auf freies ebenes Gelände. Die Genauigkeitsangaben sind statistische Werte, d. h. einzelne Höhenlinienabschnitte können auch einen höherern Fehler aufweisen. - -
