Waldfunktionenkartierung Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (WFK)

Darstellung der Schutz- und Erholungsfunktionen des Waldes als Bestandteil der forstlichen Rahmenplanung (§§ 8 und 9 Landeswaldgesetz M-V) Die Wälder in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern erfüllen vielfältige Nutz-, Schutz- und Erholungsfunktionen. Aufgabe der Waldfunktionenkartierung ist die flächenmäßige Darstellung besonderer Waldfunktionen. Sie erfasst die Funktionen der Wälder für den Umwelt- und Naturschutz, für Erholung und Kultur sowie für den Ressourcenschutz. Es werden sowohl rechtsförmlich ausgewiesene Flächen berücksichtigt als auch diejenigen Bereiche, die ohne formale Bindung besonders wichtige Funktionen erfüllen.
