Deposition

Luftverunreinigungen können nicht nur direkt über den Luftweg Gesundheits- und Umweltschäden bewirken, sondern auch über ihre Ablagerung (Deposition) auf Böden, in Gewässern oder auf Pflanzen.

In Sachsen-Anhalt werden seit Beginn der 60er Jahre Depositionsmessnetze mit wechselnder Anzahl von Messstellen und Komponenten sowie mit unterschiedlichster Probenahmetechnik betrieben. Ziel der Messungen ist es, aktuelle gesicherte Umweltdaten für politische Entscheidungen und für eine Erfolgskontrolle von Umweltschutzmaßnahmen bereitzustellen sowie atmosphärische Stoffeinträge zur Trendfeststellung und zur Beurteilung des Einflusses von Emittenten bzgl. Staubniederschlag einschließlich Staubinhaltsstoffe, An- und Kationen, Dioxine und Furane flächendeckend und an Bodendauerbeobachtungsflächen (BDF) zu ermitteln.
