Das Fachinformationssystem Boden (FISBO) ist Bestandteil des übergeordneten Bodeninformationssystems. Die Hauptfunktion besteht in der Datensammlung, -pflege und -auswertung.

Profil-, Horizont- und Labordaten werden in Datenbanken verwaltet.
