InGrid-Editor - Erfassungssoftware für Metadaten

Technische Grundlage der Metadatenkataloge ist die modular aufgebaute Software InGrid®. Der Name InGrid® steht hierbei für "Information Grid" - Informationsnetz.

Inhalt: Die InGrid®-Software leistet in ihrer Struktur genau das, was Fachleute von einer Metadatenbank erwarten. Sie enthält Objekttypen, die hinreichend detailliert untergliedert sind - und ebenso detaillierte Adressenangaben zu Institutionen, Abteilungen und Personen.

Die Erfassung und Aktualisierung der Metadaten erfolgt hierbei mit dem InGrid®Editor. Der Editor ist eine Webanwendung mit einer einfach bedienbaren Oberfläche, die eine dezentrale Metadatenpflege über Standard-Browsertechnologie via Internet ermöglicht.
