Geotopkataster NRW: Geotope in Nordrhein-Westfalen

Das Geotopkataster dokumentiert die aus geowissenschaftlicher Sicht schutzwürdigen Objekte in NRW. Die Erfassung erfolgte auf topographischen Karten im Maßstab 1:25.000, die zu jedem Objekt erhobenen Sachdaten werden in einer Datenbank verwaltet. Lage, Naturraum, eine geowissenschaftliche Beschreibung und die Nutzung werden angegeben sowie schutzrelevante Aspekte genannt. Eine regelmäßige Aktualisierung und Fortschreibung des Katasters erfolgt eng gekoppelt an aktuell laufende Planverfahren, insbesondere im Rahmen der Landschafts- und Regionalplanung.
