Kreis Herford: Hitzebelastung

Das Umfeld, in dem Einwohner der Städte und Gemeinden leben, hat einen Einfluss auf den Grad der sommerlichen Hitzebelastung. Lokal unterscheiden sich die Temperaturen in einer Siedlung von denen im unbebauten Umland, da die Bebauung als Wärmespeicher der Sonneneinstrahlung fungiert und einen lokalen Temperaturanstieg zur Folge hat (Hitzeinseleffekt). Die Karte „Hitzebelastung für die Bevölkerung“ zeigt daher die Flächen mit Wohnbau- und gemischter Nutzung, die eine ungünstige thermische Situation aufweisen und vom Effekt der städtischen Wärmeinseln betroffen sind. Die Karte zeigt außerdem auf welchen Flächen der Klimawandel zu einer Verschlechterung der thermischen Situation führen wird. Weitere Informationen www.kreis-herford.de/klimaschutz
