Digitales Geländemodell (DGM) - Freistaat Sachsen

Das digitale Geländemodell beschreibt die Geländeoberfläche durch ein regelmäßiges Punktraster. Von jedem Rasterpunkt sind die Lage und die Höhe bekannt. Die Aktualisierung erfolgt seit dem Winter 2020/2021 im 6-Jahres-Turnus, allerdings in neuen Losabgrenzungen. Die Umstellung auf die neuen Lose wird voraussichtlich mit dem Winter 2025/2026 abgeschlossen werden.

Für das DGM wird die Laserscanner-Messaufnahme als Erfassungsmethode der Primärdaten (Laserscandaten) genutzt. Die Bereitstellung erfolgt im Höhenreferenzsystem DHHN2016. Die Höhengenauigkeit der Gitterpunkte der Geländemodelle aus den Laserscanner-Messaufnahmen beträgt +/- 0,15 m.
