Der Dienst stellt die Kreisgrenzen, die Gemeindegrenzen und Gemeindenamen, die Gemarkungsgrenzen und Gemarkungsnamen mit Gemarkungsnummern und die Flurgrenzen mit Flurnummern dar. Grundlage sind Daten (Sekundärbestand) des Automatisierten Liegenschaftskatasterinformationssystems (ALKIS).
