Norddeutsche Wasserstofflandkarte (IHK Nord)

Wasserstoff ist als dekarbonisierende Energiequelle ein Schlüsselrohstoff der Zukunft und bietet dem Norden Deutschlands eine große Chance, die zentrale Rolle in der Energiewende zu übernehmen. Mit dem Zugang zum Meer und den hohen Erzeugungskapazitäten von On- und Offshore-Windstrom kann Norddeutschland eine grüne Wasserstoffindustrie aufbauen und den Rohstoff selbst emissionsfrei produzieren. Auch als Export- und Importgut wird Wasserstoff für die norddeutschen Seehäfen von Bedeutung sein. Die Bundesländer im Norden haben 2019 gemeinsam die Norddeutsche Wasserstoffstrategie verabschiedet und viele Projekte, Initiativen und Unternehmen arbeiten bereits an der Entwicklung einer praxistauglichen Technologie – auch bundeslandübergreifend. In dieser Übersicht wurden diese Projekte im Norden zusammengetragen. Dadurch sollen die Bekanntheit und die Vernetzung der Wasserstoffwirtschaft in Norddeutschland unterstützt werden.
