Die Abgrenzungen der ökologischen Grundeinheiten basieren auf den Angaben der Anlage 1 zur Verordnung über Herkunftsgebiete für forstliches Vermehrungsgut (Forstsaat-Herkunftsgebietsverordnung) vom 07. Oktober 1994 und wurden durch die Mitglieder der Arbeitsgruppe Gebietseigene Gehölze geprüft.
