Norddeutscher Klimamonitor

Der norddeutsche Klimamonitor ist ein Informationsprodukt, das vom Norddeutschen Klimabüro des Helmholtz-Zentrums Geesthacht und vom Regionalen Klimabüro Hamburg des Deutschen Wetterdienstes entwickelt wurde, um über den aktuellen Forschungsstand zum Klima und bisherigen Klimawandel in Norddeutschland zu informieren. Dazu wurden Stationsmessungen des DWD-Messnetzes und messbasierte Flächendatensätze sowie Reanalysen aus dem coastDat-Datensatz für Norddeutschland ausgewertet und auf einer Webseite grafisch veranschaulicht. Die Auswertungen zeigen, dass selbst bei Klimaelementen, deren Messung als robust und wenig fehleranfällig gilt, ein Unsicherheitsbereich hinsichtlich ihres Zustandes und somit auch hinsichtlich der bisherigen Änderungen existiert. Dennoch weisen innerhalb der letzten 55 Jahre alle Datensätze auf eine Erwärmung von etwa 0,8 K in Norddeutschland hin. Zudem ist die beobachtete Erwärmung der letzten 30 Jahre als exemplarisch für die künftig zu erwartende Erwärmung einzustufen.
