Badegewässer im Saarland

Badegewässer im Saarland Badegewässer sind Seen, die zum öffentlichen Baden und Schwimmen genutzt werden. Die Mindestanforderungen an die Qualität der Badegewässer und deren Bewirtschaftung sind für die Mitgliedsstaaten der Europäischen Union in der Richtlinie 2006/7/EG (Badegewässerrichtlinie) definiert. Die Europäische Badegewässerrichtlinie wurde 2008 im Saarland mit der Badegewässerverordnung in nationales Recht umgesetzt. Aktuell sind der Bostalsee, der Losheimer Stausee und eine Badestelle an der Nied im Saarland als Badegewässer ausgewiesen.
