Rheinland-Pfalz in 3D (3D-Viewer)

"Rheinland-Pfalz in 3D" ist ein Onlineangebot des Landesamts für Vermessung und Geobasisinformation Rheinland-Pfalz.

3D-Gebäudemodelle beschreiben gemeinsam mit einem Digitalen Geländemodell die natürliche Geländeform der Erdoberfläche einschließlich aller Gebäude und Bauwerke in digitaler Form und ermöglichen die Darstellung von Städten und Ortschaften in virtuellen Welten.

Die Gebäude werden in vereinfachter Form als Klötzchen darstellt, denen zusätzlich standardisierte Dachformen (z.B. Sattel oder Walmdach) zugeordnet werden, die entsprechend dem tatsächlichen Firstverlauf ausgerichtet sind.

"Rheinland-Pfalz in 3D" enthält rund 3,5 Millionen Gebäude, für deren Modellierung vollautomatisierte Rechenverfahren und vorhandes Datenmaterial verwendet werden. Als Datengrundlage werden Höheninformationen aus dem flugzeuggestützten Laserscanning, aus Luftbildern und Gebäudegrundrissen des Liegenschaftskatasters verwendet. Die automatische Identifizierung standardisierter Dachformen erreicht bereits eine hohe Erkennungsrate.

Die Darstellung der Gebäude erfolgt wahlweise auf der Grundlage von Luftbildern, der Liegenschaftskarte oder dem amtlichen Internet-Kartendienst WebAtlasRP.
