Serie: 3D-Stadtmodelle von Freiburg i. Br.

Die Geodatenserie verknüpft die als "Open Data" veröffentlichten 3D-Stadtmodelle von Freiburg im Breisgau. Unter einem 3D-Stadtmodell wird ein vereinfachtes und maßstabsgetreues dreidimensionales Modell einer Stadt oder eines Stadtteils verstanden, welches mit einer speziellen Software erstellt wird. In diesem Modell werden die realen Objekte der Stadt mit möglichst hoher Genauigkeit und Aktualität abgebildet. Der Detaillierungsgrad (Level of Details - LoD) eines 3D-Stadtmodells gibt an, wie genau die Objekte der Stadt im Modell wiedergegeben werden.
