GERICS has published a climate report for each of the 401 German districts. https://www.gerics.de/products_and_publications/fact_sheets/landkreise/index.php.de Each report summarizes a selection of climate indices like temperature, hot days, dry days or days with heavy precipitation on a few pages. The results show the future development of these indices in the 21st century for three scenarios with strong, medium and weak climate protection, respectively. The data originates from 85 EURO-CORDEX simulations with regional climate models, and the HYRAS dataset of the German Weather Service.

  • The data include daily, monthly, and seasonal variables of CORDEX experiments scaled down onto a ca. 12.5 km grid over Europe (acronym: EUR-44) based on the ALARO-0 regional climate model. Each file contains a single variable and is formatted according to the CORDEX data protocol - meaning NetCDF-4 compressed, CF-1.4 compliant, with attributes and filenames according to the specified DRS. The experiments provided are evaluation, historical, rcp85, rcp45 and rcp26 using forcing data derived from the CMIP5 model CNRM-CM5. The data are provided on the model computational (native) grid.

  • This data of the project CORDEX includes CORDEX experiments for the domain for Europe in high resolution (EUR-11) based on DHMZ's RegCM4-2 model. Each file contains a single variable in the format NetCDF-4 compressed with CF standard names (CF-1.4). The data are provided on the model computational (native) grid. Information on additional project naming conventions is specified in the project description. The data include several daily, monthly and seasonal variables from the DHMZ-RegCM4-2 simulation forced by the ERA-Interim reanalysis. Data format follows CORDEX data protocol. Please contact ivan.guettler@cirus.dhz.hr for any relevant requests for this simulation.

  • The regional reanalysis system for Continental Europe matches the domain of the CORDEX EURO-11 specifications, albeit at a higher spatial resolution, i.e., 0.055° (6 km) instead of 0.11° (12 km). It comprises the assimilation of observational data using the existing nudging scheme of COSMO complemented by snow, SST and soil moisture analysis modules and uses ERA‐Interim data as lateral boundary conditions. The reanalysis data set covers the period 1995 to August 2019. Due to the end of production of the forcing global reanalysis ERA-Interim, COSMO-REA6 has also been discontinued. A second version of COSMO-REA6, labeled "R6G2", that uses the data of the global reanalysis ERA5 as lateral boundary conditions, is currently under development at DWD.
